Why is it so hard to find a good pic of a naked man wearing glasses? I mean really, there’s only this ONE? On the entire internet? Someone should get on that.

It’s amazingly exciting that we are getting to take our ideas to such a huge audience. And we could never have done it without the support of all cover watch’s avid and supportive blog readers. So thank you! Kristina’s latest piece even got a feature on Gawker Media blog Jezebel, so I guess they aren’t cross with us for what we said about Fleshbot. Thank god, we don’t want everyone to blacklist us.
Talking of the piece about Fleshbot, we were delighted with the response to it and plan to write more articles about female sexuality issues not necessarily related to book covers. For the next piece in our Sex Uncovered strand we’ve been looking into the neglected, hidden, ignored, outright denied world of Male Burlesque. More on that to come, but I will say, when men pole dance it makes kittens smile (and that probably is some kind of euphemism).
But we do still write about book covers. Come back on Thursday and I just might do that.

Hah – I’ve been having the same problem looking for pictures of hot red-headed men. I know they exist -I have seen many – but not on the internet.
I put “ginger man” into my search engine and its first three suggestions were “ugly ginger man” “fat ginger man” and “old ginger man”. I despair…
Now I’m going to go and shag Eric Stoltz.

You are so right! I have a big thing for nerds and it is tough out there for a boynerd pimp. Try finding a pic of a hot guy holding a book! It’s crazy!

Hm. Maybe that should be your next crusade. Not just images of naked men, but of naked smart men! Or do brains and penises not go together?
Of course, glasses are not necessarily an indicator of brains, but this fellow does look smart, as well as hot.

I second the love of naked smart men — and recommend the skepdude calendar for that purpose! You can see pictures from the 2007 calendar here. I have this year’s one and I’m very fond of it — a few of the pictures are just for a laugh, but there are some seriously hot ones in there too
